Time to get going in the Fast Running Blog community. At the Canyon View JV meet, no race for me today. We ran 40 minutes with 4X60 second fartleks. Not the best ones cause my legs are a little sore from the Kosmin workout yesterday. Just super pumped for Herriman on Friday!!!

Math Problem of the Day:

If Definition Dallen runs his 60 second fartleks at a steady 4:00 1600 pace, then how many meters will he have run in 3 of these fartleks? Comment your answer!

Am: Easy twenty minute morning run. Me, Cam, and Preston were like thirty seconds late so we were behind the pack for a lil while.

Pm: Thirty minutes with striders. Easy day after the workouts this week and nice and simple before we helped out with the Youngsters' meet. I'm just so stoked for Herriman!!!

Math Problem of the Day: Alli Peterson spends 30 minutes a night looking at Connor Baller's blog posts. If she does this for 57 days straight before she moves on, how many minutes will she have accumulated reading his posts.

Am: 2.8 miles just nice and relaxing. Feeling good and ready for Herriman. 20 min

Pm: Swag shoe run. We left a water bottle/cooler and a bag of sweet chili sunflower seeds on the Ellsworths' doorstep. 5.3 miles, with some 30 second fartleks with a minute recovery between each one. 4 of these fartleks. 45 minutes total.

Math Problem of the Day: It is 287 miles from Pine View High School to Herriman High School. If the bus taking Pine View's athletes hypothetically travels at a constant speed of 65 mph, with a 30 minute break in Nephi, Utah for food and restrooms, what time will the bus reach Herriman High School if it leave Pine View High School at exactly 8:00 am?

Am: Another 20 minutes in the morning. We had a sweet talk about Knights Templars and Secret Societies. Race day

Pm: 3200 m race at Herriman Invite. I didn't do that great. I don't know my official time yet but I know it wasn't close to my goal. The last 800 was decent, but the rest could've been better. I just need to learn from it and come out with a positive attitude. I had some good passes.

Math Problem of the Day: Alex The Lion is the closest to qualifying in the 3200 for Pine View right now. If he ran a 9:59.52 and state qualifying time is 9:59.14, how much faster per lap must he run to qualify?

Am: 50 minute run from the hotel with my bros. We went down into this tiny gorge in Sandy and found a dope rope swing in a tree. No one broke a leg.

Math Problem of the Day: Desert Hills' Track team decides to go shopping. They only brought one debit card with $100,000 on it. If they buy a car for $34,000, some new collared shirts to run in for $370, a sick gold chain for $245, and some new running shoes for the most of the team for $1,250, how much money will they have left on the debit card?
